SAN DIEGO (AP) — A San Diego woman has been arrested after police say she rammed her ex-boyfriend’s car and then ran over his new girlfriend.

The Los Angeles Times says 23-year-old Shantelle Glass was arrested Friday on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and attempted murder. She remains jailed Saturday.

Police say the woman spotted her boyfriend in the Oak Park neighborhood around 10:30 p.m. Friday and rammed his car several times.

When a 26-year-old woman got out of the car, police say Glass ran her over. The driver fled but was later arrested.

Authorities say the victim’s injuries are significant but not life-threatening.

Hey, DR editing staff. It sure would have been nice if the last paragraph had made the print edition. As it was it never said anything in the print edition about the condition of the woman who was run over.
