I was not aware of this problem until I read this article. Can you imagine putting a lid on research like that? Fear of information implies not wanting to learn the truth. And what is particularly interesting is the presumption that the research would find against gun ownership. It might very well not. There is too much mythology and misinformation floating about regarding guns in America. Let’s get some real data. I had no idea the NRA was a terrorist organization, which GWBush said “hate us because of our freedom.” But what does it say when we stifle research on one particular subject because of NRA influence?
