SAN JOSE — San Jose police say they’ve arrested a teenage boy wanted on suspicion of sexual assaulting an 85-year-old woman.

Albert Morales of the San Jose Police Department told the San Jose Mercury News that Friday’s arrest is the second stemming from a home invasion robbery and assault inside an elderly couple’s home early Tuesday.

Morales says the teens – ages 15 and 16 – broke into the home, where one or both of the boys assaulted the woman, leaving her husband physically unharmed.

The boys stole the couple’s SUV, and Morales says the pair led California Highway Patrol officers on a high-speed chase that ended with the SUV crashing.

The 15-year-old boy was arrested at the crash scene, and investigators learned of the second boy’s identity, arresting him on Friday.
