S. California mom suspected of molesting daughters

By From page A4 | August 09, 2014

HIGHLAND — Authorities have arrested a Southern California woman they say molested her two young daughters and sent the photos to a prisoner serving a life sentence.

The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department says the woman was arrested after a guard at the Kern Valley State Prison found the photos on the prisoner’s cellphone Wednesday.

Authorities say the phone and heroin were discovered when guards searched the cell of Juan Bravo.

The Highland woman was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of committing lewd acts with a child.

The Associated Press is withholding the woman’s name to avoid identifying her daughters.

It’s not immediately clear whether she’s obtained an attorney.
