Jury finds convicted Fairfield murderer sane

Oakland’s 110th homicide this year ties 2011 total

OAKLAND — The fatal shooting of a 33-year-old man in Oakland has bought this year’s homicide tally to 110, tying the city’s mark last year.

Officer Rob Rosin tells the Oakland Tribune that police responding to reports of gunfire found Jose Rivera Estrada lying on a sidewalk in east Oakland Wednesday night.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Rosin said police do not have a motive for the killing or any suspects in custody.

Police say Rivera Estrada, who was a cook, may have been on his way home in Oakland after leaving his job at a restaurant in nearby Alameda.

The incident was Oakland’s 110th homicide so far this year, the same total for all of 2011.

The city also recorded the same number of homicides in 2009.

Continue to hire and promote thug corrupt cops. Continue to unionize the cop thugs and drain the treasury with their salaries and bloated pensions. Continue to Balkanize your state and drive business and families out. Continue to promote, foster and further the welfare state, the police state and illegal alien sanctuary cities. Continue to build inefficient wasteful and extravagant bureacracies that do nothing. Continue to make government appointments based on everything but merit and qualifications. Continue to divide rich against poor, white against black, religious faith against religious faith. Continue to build government and expand it powers. Continue to preach that government exists solely to provide all things to all people instead of protecting the rights of the individual like it should be doing. Yes continue to do the evil work of the coming communist state.
