OAKLAND — An Oakland police officer has been hospitalized after being shot, but a police spokeswoman says his wound is not considered life-threatening.
The Oakland Tribune reports that two people have been arrested in connection with the shooting on Friday evening.
They were not suffering from any injuries, and department spokeswoman Officer Johanna Watson did not know if the injured officer fired any shots.
Neither the names of the people arrested nor of the officer have been released.
Another Oakland officer, an undercover detective, was shot in the arm on Monday while sitting in a car.
