What a character! And what a horrible mess he had to deal with–we all remember New Yucks fiscal crisis. The rest of America said ”let them rot, the place is a sewer”, but he had to deal with the unions and the other criminals to turn things around. His hard work gave Rudy Guiliani an easy ride. Doesn’t matter if he was a homosexual–he didn’t flaunt it or demand that people worship him because of it. He was a class act, albeit quite humorous and I love the epitath on his tombstone. G-d speed Mayor Koch.
