ANAHEIM — Officials at Disneyland and Disney California Adventure say they’re cracking down on Anaheim businesses that buy multi-day park passes and then sell them to visitors for individual days.
Spokeswoman Suzi Brown tells the Los Angeles Times (http://lat.ms/13eFmxO) workers on Tuesday began photographing visitors who use multi-day passes to enter the park.
Several Anaheim businesses have been accused of buying multi-day passes and leasing them at a discounted rate that still netted them a profit.
Now, Disneyland workers at park turnstiles will see a photo of a guest pop up on a screen when a person tries to enter the park using a pass. Entrance will be denied if the visitor doesn’t match the photo.
One park visitor says the photos caused significant delays, but Disneyland officials denied it.
