SAN JOSE — Two brothers are being credited with getting a pregnant woman out of her car after it flipped over on a busy San Jose expressway.
Officials say a woman, who has not been named, was driving her Ford Focus on West Capitol Expressway a little after 9 a.m. Friday when it was hit by another car and flipped over.
Witnesses told authorities that two men, identified as 20-year-old Alexander Quinones and his 17-year-old brother, Antonio, broke out the window of the overturned car and helped the woman get out and safely to the side of the road.
Officials say the woman was taken to a local trauma center for evaluation. No additional details have been released, but officials say she and her baby did not appear to be injured in the incident.
