FAIRFIELD — Children’s Network of Solano County and Immigrant Legal Resource Center are local agencies that will benefit from Sierra Health Foundation grants.
Sierra Health Foundation is a private philanthropy serving Northern California. It has awarded 19 grants totaling $249,782 in a region covering 26 counties.
Children’s Network of Solano County will receive $15,000. The grant is to improve the nutrition and health of low-income residents by increasing their awareness of CalFresh food stamp benefit.
Immigrant Legal Resource Center serves Solano, Sacramento, Butte, San Joaquin, Stanislaus, Yolo and Yuba counties and will receive $15,000. The grant is to promote access to health care services for immigrants.
