Vikings roll to boys basketball win over Vallejo

FAIRFIELD — The Vanden High boys basketball rolled to an 85-63 Solano County Athletic Conference victory over visiting Vallejo Thursday.

Jordan Collier led the Vikings (14-10, 3-4) with 23 points, while Demarre Walker had 17, Jansen Smith 14 and Brandon Davis 11.

“It was a good all-round win,” Vanden coach Michael Holloway said.

Vanden is back in action for Senior Night Tuesday against Benicia.

 Vanden won the JV game 70-58 with the Vikings (12-8, 5-2 SCAC) getting 18 from Anthony Anchante, 15 from Tony Terry and 11 each from Javin White and Benji Gutierrez.
