Indians advance: At Vintage High in Napa, Armijo will send four wrestlers to the Masters tournament after the first day of the Division I tournament.

Darius Levan (106), Terrance Saeteurn (113), Hayden Scibek (134) and Billy Cimmino (184) were all 2-1 Friday and move on, with each guaranteed of finishing no worse than eighth.

Danny Charos (1-2, 173) was the only other Indian to record a victory Friday.

“It’s big for them,” Armijo coach Cesar Correa said. “It sounds easy, eight of 16 qualifying (for Masters), but there were no easy matches. . . . It’s a big boost knowing there’s another week of life.”
