Vallejo Admirals to hold Fan Fest at Wilson Park

VALLEJO — The Vallejo Admirals of the Pacific Association of Professional Baseball Clubs is holding its Fan Fest at Wilson Park, Saturday.

The event is scheduled to run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

According to a release, fans will be able to meet the 2014 Admirals, get autographs and interact with the players.

There will be a jumper for kids and police SWAT and fire trucks will also be on hand.

“This will be a chance for fans to come out and really connect with their local, professional baseball team,” said Tim Fitzgerald, Admirals media relations director. “It will be a lot of fun and the perfect kickoff to the 2014 season.”

The Admirals open their season by hosting the Pittsburgh Mettle on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
