WOODLAND — Halle Sullivan topped a solid day of running for the Rodriguez High cross country teams by finishing second in the Girls Elite Runners Division in the Run on the Green at Woodland High, Saturday.
Sullivan crossed in 12 minutes, 31 seconds, followed by Makenzie Alspaw (ninth, 13:50).
Anthony Vogliano was 10th (11:02) in the boys elite race, with Jesse Jones 15th (11:40). Each school entered up to three of its top runners in the elite events.
Emma Vogliano led four runners for the Mustangs in the girls varsity top 10 by finishing fourth overall.
Vogliano finished in 15 minutes, 28 seconds, followed by Lauren Riddle (fifth, 15:44), Natasha Candel (seventh, 16:22), Carina Gutierrez (eighth, 16:37) and Taylor Rainey (11th, 17:15).
The top Mustangs varsity boys runner was Marcos Moreno, who was 12th (12:02).
Mitchell Velasquez won the frosh/soph boys race in 11:50, with Matt Larsen 12th (12:50).
In the girls frosh/soph event, Megan Riddle was fourth (15:31), followed by Alana Ewart (seventh, 16:21), Flora Turcios (10th, 17:20), Kailee Schwab (11th, 17:41) and Maikeila Lunch (15th, 18:45).
