Solano falls to DVC in baseball, 4-1

PLEASANT HILL — The Solano Community College baseball team managed just four hits in falling 4-1 in non-conference play to Diablo Valley, Thursday.

The Falcons (0-2) trailed 3-0 before getting their run in the top of the fourth inning. David Fernandez singled, took second on a Nick Perez walk, and scored on an Evan Faccenda single.

Evans and Erick Olson had the other hits for Solano.

James Harris went the first five innings and took the loss, striking out two and walking none.

The same two teams play at Billy and Louise Yarbrough Stadium on Saturday at 1 p.m.
