Solano College plans Dynamic Player Development clinic

ROCKVILLE — The Solano Community College men’s and women’s basketball teams are offering their Dynamic Player Development Clinic starting Sunday.

The clinic, which will be run at the Solano gym, also runs April 5, April 13, April 27, May 4 and May 18. It covers intense development of the basics of offense and emphasizes ball control, passing, shooting, attacking defenses, decision-making and footwork.

Schedule for the April 5 clinic is 10 to 11:30 a.m. for grades K-6 and 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. for grades 7 to 11. Schedule for all other days is 1 to 2:30 p.m. for grades K-6 and 2:30 to 4 p.m. for grades 7 to 11.
