SCC men fall in Foothill tournament

LOS ALTOS HILLS — The Solano Community College men’s basketball team fell to College of the Sequoias 65-58 Sunday in the consolation championship of the Foothill tournament.

The Falcons (4-5) fell behind 29-19 at the half and couldn’t make up much ground over the final 20 minutes.

Jacob Keys and Corey Doran led Solano with 14 points apiece, while Mike Stockton scored nine, Daniel Badger eight and LeQuan Gomes seven.

The Falcons are back in action Friday when they play at Skyline of San Bruno at 6 p.m.
