SCC lands four all-BVC volleyball selections

ROCKVILLE — The Solano Community College volleyball team landed four players on All-Bay Valley Conference teams Sunday.

Pilar Washington and Lainey Brown were chosen as first-team selections, while Natalie Perry and Emily Skinner were second-team picks.

Washington had 117 kills in BVC play and 182 on the season and also led the conference with 59 of her team-leading 80 blocks on the year.

Brown recorded 173 digs inuring BVC play and finished with 355 on the year. She also had 36 aces in conference and 62 overall.

Perry had 91 kills in conference and 158 overall while also tallying 114 conference digs and 222 overall.

Skinner wrapped up the regular season with 198 kills – 107 in BVC play – to lead the Falcons.

Solano (19-8), the No. 15 seed, travels to play Feather River (29-2), the No. 2 seed, in playoff action at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
