Rodriguez grad, Chiefs LB Johnson to play in local charity golf tourney

FAIRFIELD — Mission Solano announced in a press release that Rodriguez High graduate and current Kansas City Chiefs linebacker will play in the 15th annual Mission Solano Charity Golf Tournament, June 30 at Chardonnay Golf Club.

According to the release, Johnson will be signing autographs and  donating tickets to the Kansas City Chiefs vs. Oakland Raiders football game this season for the silent auction.

Mission Solano says foursomes and sponsor spots are still available but they are filling up quickly. If interested in coming out to Chardonnay and supporting the Solano County charity, go to MissionSolano.org for more information.

Mission Solano was established in 1998 and has a nationally-recognized program that provides emergency shelter, food and clothing, counseling, education and job-skills training to homeless men, women and children throughout the county. The organization is open 24 hours, seven days of week and provides all services free of charge to its guests.
