Prep softball: Fairfield drops 4-0 decision to Dixon

By April 16, 2014

FAIRFIELD — The defense for the Fairfield High softball team had its moments, both good and bad, in a 4-0 nonleague loss to Dixon, Monday.

The Falcons (1-11) made several dazzling plays, but also committed five errors to undermine the solid pitching of Monica Chapa, who struck out four.

Fairfield returns to Solano County Athletic Conference play on Wednesday when it hosts Bethel.
