Prep girls water polo: Falcons lose thriller to Benicia in overtime

VALLEJO — The Fairfield High girls water polo team lost a 8-7 heartbreaker in overtime to Benicia in their first Solano County Athletic Conference game of the season, Tuesday.

The Falcons' Dalal Muqatash led the team with six goals and two steals, while Itzia Portales scored the other goal. Sarah Roy-Davila led the team in blocks with 12.
Fairfield is now 3-8 overall (0-1 SCAC) and hosts American Canyon on Thursday.

The Mustangs next game will be at Napa on Monday.
