Prep girls tennis: Armijo gets 6-3 win over Rodriguez

FAIRFIELD — The Armijo High girls tennis team remained unbeaten in 2013 with a 6-3 Monticello Empire League win over Rodriguez, Monday.

The Indians (7-0, 7-0 MEL) won four of the singles matches and two of the doubles matches, led by Reagan Corley’s 6-0, 6-2 win at No. 2 singles.

Betsy Samonte (No. 1) and Hannah Lee (No. 6) won singles matches for the Mustangs, while sisters Natalie Neale and Nicole Neale won at No. 1 doubles for Rodriguez.

Armijo plays at home against Napa Wednesday, while the Mustangs play at Vacaville.
