Prep girls soccer: Vanden slips past AC for 3-2 SCAC victory

FAIRFIELD — The Vanden High girls soccer team spread out its goals to get a 3-2 win over American Canyon in Solano County Athletic Conference action, Thursday.

Heather Walsh had a big game in the net as she had eight saves for the VIkings (11-3 SCAC).

Brie Eaton scored Vanden’s first goal in the 24th minute with an assist from Josey Breeden. Angel Guerrero scored in the 42nd on an assist from Breeden, while Alecea Mexas scored the final goal in the 55th.

The Vikings last game of the regular season is Tuesday as they host crosstown rival, Fairfield on Senior Night.
