FAIRFIELD — Passion Ware scored 11 points and pulled down 23 rebounds to help the Armijo High girls basketball team win its second straight game with a 54-43 nonleague victory over Benicia, Tuesday.

The Indians, who also got 11 points from Kira Wilson and 10 from Jada Williams, took a 24-22 lead into halftime and never trailed the rest of the game.

“We had 12 assists, which I think is our season high,” Armijo coach Lawrence Trigg said. “We’re really moving the ball around.”

The Indians take a 30-game Monticello Empire League winning streak into Friday’s MEL opener at Vacaville.
