Prep badminton: Armijo drops 8-7 decision to Davis

DAVIS — The Armijo High badminton team dropped four matches in both singles and doubles with four going three sets, enough to add up to an 8-7 loss to Davis, Monday.

Winning in singles for the Indians (13-4, 12-3 MEL) were Serenity Liew, Ysabelle Balomadres, Angelica Roxas and Stephanie Weber.

Prevailing in doubles were the teams of Noni Guevara and Donna Tran, Akena Reyes and Geraldine Tiongson, and Lisset Gil and Adriana Rodriguez.

Armijo returns to action on Wednesday at Napa.
