HEALDSBURG — The Solano Mudcats needed 10 innings to take a 6-4 victory against the Prune Packers in a back-and-forth game that featured five lead changes at Recreation Park, Saturday.

The Mudcats (27-10) grabbed the lead on a two-run double by Brenden Farney, plating Nick Spini and Mark Foley.

Gordie Clary earned the win for the Mudcats, throwing two shutout innings, scattering three hits, walking two and striking out one. AJ Quintero was the starter, going eight innings, allowing four runs on 11 hits with seven strikeouts.

Spini was 4 for 5 at the plate, and one home run shy of hitting for the cycle, ending with one single, two doubles and a triple – adding one RBI. Spini was the only Mudcats batter with multiple hits.
