PITTSBURG — It was a good week for the Solano Community College women’s basketball team, and the Falcons finished it off with their third straight victory, routing host Los Medanos 62-40 Saturday.

Solano (7-8, 4-1 Bay Valley Conference) capped its busiest week of the conference season with another solid team performance.

Necole White hit four 3-pointers and she matched teammate Taylor Hamilton with a team-high 16 points.

“It was a really, really good week for us,” said Falcons coach Matt Borchert. “It’s the one three-game week we have to play and it was fantastic to get it in before school starts on Monday and to do it undefeated is a testament to our players. It was a very good accomplishment for us this week.”

Solano returns to action Tuesday when it hosts College of Marin at 5:30 p.m.
