Knights cruise to league win

VACAVILLE — The Buckingham Charter baseball team had no trouble with Sacramento Metropolitan Athletic League foe Trinity Prep as it won 12-2, Saturday.

Anthony Alameda pitched the complete game for the Knights (12-2) throwing 10 strikeouts.

Tony Alameda had a two-run double, while Brandon Taylor and Josiah Oneal had two hits apiece.

Thursday, Buckingham Charter defeated Yuba City Faith 2-1 behind the arm of Oneal who pitched the complete game with 11 strikeouts.

The Knights travel to Napa to play Trinity Prep, Tuesday.
