JC women’s soccer: Solano rolls to 8-0 shutout of Yuba City

ROCKVILLE — The Solano College women’s soccer team blanked Yuba College 8-0 in Bay Valley Conference play, Tuesday.

The Falcons' Angie Doolie led the way with two goals and two assists, while Megan Welsh and Geneva Bouchet had two goals of their own.

The other goals for Solano came from Crystal Thompson Andreas and an own goal scored off a Yuba defender.

Bianca Gonzales, Bryce Branagan-Franco, Tia Rowley, Candis Hatfield and Harmonie Carranza each finished with one assist.

The Falcons are 3-4-2 overall (2-1 BVC) and play at College of Marin, Friday.
