Fairfield Expos rout Santa Rosa, 11-2

FAIRFIELD — The Fairfield Expos totaled 13 hits in its 11-2 victory over Santa Rosa Connie Mack in American Legion baseball, Saturday.

Five different pitchers contributed to the win for the Expos, leaving 13 Santa Rosa runners stranded.

Will Baker earned the win, going two innings and allowing two hits. Starter Rylan Haney threw four innings of work, scattering three hits, allowing two runs with six strikeouts and three walks.

The Expos were behind 2-0 until the bottom of the sixth where they tied the game at two apiece. The Expos then exploded for seven runs in the seventh and two in the eighth.

Jake Hedrick led in hits with three, while JP San Antonio, Matthew Lanza and Nate Minster had two. Jo Jo Quintanilla was 1 for 4 with three RBIs.

The Expos host Sonoma County at 11 a.m. Sunday at Laurel Creek Park.
