PETALUMA — Trailing by 10 late in the game, the Fairfield High boys basketball team rallied past Windsor Friday night for a 50-48 victory in the semifinals of the Brett Callan Memorial Tournament at Casa Grande High.

Fairfield (6-5) put together a 12-2 run in the waning minutes to edge the Jaguars and stay in the winner’s bracket.

DeMoriaye Hart-Spike again led the Falcons with 17 points, followed by John Jones with 10 .

The win gives the Falcons a 6 p.m. date with either Washington of San Francisco or Alameda in today’s championship game.

Buckingham Charter 61, Foresthill 37: At Garden Valley, the Knights (4-3) broke the .500 mark with their fourth straight win, launching them into the championship game of the Golden Sierra tournament.

Joey Niccum led Buckingham with a double-double of 15 points and 13 rebounds. Devin Riley added four points and pulled down eight rebounds.

The Knights will face either Golden Sierra or Trinity Prep in the championship game today at 2:30 p.m.

Vanden 57, Analy 47: At El Cerrito in the El Cerrito Showcase, Jordan Collier scored 15 points and sank three of his team’s four free throws as the Vikings (8-2) never trailed. Brandon Davis added 10 points.

“At the end they started getting back in a little bit, but we were able close it off,” Vanden coach Micheal Holloway said. “We did good job sharing the ball, finding the shooters. For the first time we played outstanding team defense. We closed out on the shooters real quick. Analy has good shooters on the floor all the time.”

The Vikings continue in the showcase today by playing Christian Brothers of Sacramento at 1:30 p.m.
