Expos get another win over Medford, Ore.

FAIRFIELD — After splitting a doublheader Saturday with the Medford, Ore., Mustangs, the Fairfield Expos picked up a 6-4 win, Sunday.

Troy Nixon picked up the win on the mound, pitching five innings of six-hit, one-run baseball in relief of Garrett Weiss, who allowed five hits in four innings.

Jacob Booker led Fairfield at the plate, finishing 3 for 4 with an RBI, while Anthony Kaleczyc (2 for 3) and Chris Parodi (1 for 4) each drove in two runs.

Giovanni Torres and Jake Hedrick also had hits for the Expos.

Fairfield is back in action Tuesday when it faces the Napa Riverdogs at Veterans Home field in Yountville at 5 p.m.
