Armijo can’t keep momentum going in girls basketball loss

VACAVILLE — The Armijo High girls basketball team held a 9-3 lead after the first quarter but was outscored 43-20 the rest of the way in falling 46-29 to Fortuna in the Power of One Tournament at Vacaville High, Friday.

Kira Wilson led the Indians (3-10) with seven points, while Passion Ware and Noemi Manzo each scored six with Ware adding 12 rebounds.

Armijo plays the loser of the Yuba City-Ukiah game on Saturday at 3:30 p.m.
