NAPA — One of the fields at the Napa Little League complex on Garfield Lane will be the land of the Giants on Saturday.

The Fairfield Pacific champion Giants will take on the Cordelia/Tri-Valley runner-up Giants for the District 53 Majors Division Tournament of Champions title.

First pitch is scheduled for noon.

The Minors Division championship game also has a local flavor as the Suisun American champion Dodgers will battle the Napa National runner-up at 12:30 p.m.

The Pacific Giants reached the title game by edging the Tri-Valley champion Astros 5-4 on Sunday, blasting Middletown/Cobb 11-1 on Tuesday and eclipsing North Vallejo 9-8 on Thursday.

The Tri-Valley Giants survived an early scare by slipping past the Fairfield Atlantic champion Angels 2-1 on June 14 before downing the Fairfield Pacific runner-up Tigers 9-4 on Monday and the Napa National champions 10-2 on Wednesday.

Likewise, Suisun’s Dodgers have won big and small, opening with a 13-3 win over the Fairfield Pacific champion Red Sox on June 14, downing Vallejo 4-2 and reaching the title game with an 11-1 win over the Tri-Valley champion Indians.

IF YOU GO: Take Highway 12 west and Highway 29 north. Bear right to 221 North (also called Napa Vallejo Highway). Bear left to Soscol Avenue. After 3.2 miles, turn left on Trancas. After .2 miles, turn right on Big Ranch Road. After .7 miles, turn left on Garfield Lane and park in the lot at the Napa Little League complex.
