Guest speaker Nikkie Derr, right, is a volunteer with Pathway Home, a healing community that assists military personnel with post-traumatic stress disorder, traumatic brain injuries and other serious issues that arise from combat. Nikkie shared how Pathway Home has a service dog program that assists the program participants in many ways, such as coping with anxiety, nightmares, seizures and more, at the Fairfield-Suisun Rotary Noon Club meeting on Aug. 28 at the Kroc Center.
