Members of the Fairfield Suisun Rotary Noon Club volunteered to work at the Solano County Office of Education Academic Decathlon at Rodriguez High School, Feb. 2.

Several Rotarians were recognized for their generous contribution to the Rotary Foundation. Solano EDC president Sandy Person shared with the club how Solano EDC is helping to grow Solano County’s economy at the weekly meeting at the Kroc Center, Feb. 19.

At a VEX Robotics tournament Jan. 28 (at Ceres High School), local robotics team ”Cyber Phoenix, #6A” won the tournament. This win qualifies them for the world championships in Anaheim in April. John Talamantes, left, and Ryan Poston are part of the team.

Bud and Hilda Ross donated a seafood dinner to the Soroptimist Clubs fundraiser, Denim and Diamonds, last year. The other couples in the photo purchased the dinner and helped raise money for the charities the Soroptimists support.

Soroptimist of Central Solano President Stephanie Beardsley, left, with members Stephanie Wolf, Hilda Ross, Diana Holt, Beverly Brun and Lynn Recknagel had a fun and festive meeting for Valentine’s Day. At the meeting, the women decorated cookies to take to the PAL Center of Fairfield.
