Plays, pops music and more can be found in Solano County

FAIRFIELD —From premieres to an annual pops concert, Solano County offers a bevy of live entertainment.

Music and theater productions fill the year with special programming slated around Christmas.

There have been some changes.

Some local groups had to find a new home, as the Fetterly Playhouse for the Arts in Vallejo closed earlier this year.

The Vallejo theater launched the improvisation group Rats in the Alley and was a favorite venue for many directors.

The Bay Terrace Theatre is taking on a new name, The Bay Terrace Mira Community Cultural Center.
