Bay Stage Dance Competition

Solano County Fair 2014

Bay Stage talent competitions, nightly karaoke party

By From page SCF3 | July 25, 2014

One of the greatest things about the Solano County Fair is that you have the chance to be a part of the fun and entertainment by showing off your talents on the Fair’s Bay Stage, presented by KUIC.

Once again, the fair will have two fan-favorite competitions: The Talent & Dance Competition on Friday, Aug. 1, and the Solano Stars! Vocal Competition on Saturday, Aug. 2. Both competitions will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. on the Bay Stage. Cash prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place in each competition and the entry fee includes fair admission.

The Talent & Dance Competition is open to musical duos, trios, bands, dancers and other entertainers, while the Solano Stars! Vocal Competition is open to individual vocalists only. All contestants must live in Solano County and will be judged on talent, stage presence and entertainment appeal.

If you’re not quite ready for the pressure of a vocal competition, then just be a part of the party – the karaoke party.

After the success of this new addition to the fair last year, the Bay Stage will once again be home to a nightly karaoke party from 8 to 9:30 p.m. with prizes, disc jockey play lists and lots of family fun.
