The staff and veterinarians at Barney and Russum Animal Clinic in Fairfield treat animals as if they were their own, says Georgie Weber, head tech at the clinic. “It’s a caring practice,” she said. “The client is very important.” Weber, who’s worked at Barney and Russum for 16 years, said the clinic also benefits from a veteran staff. “We have a continuity,” she said. The Fairfield veterinarians who provide a great place for animal care provide a great place to work as well, she said. “I couldn’t have worked in a better environment,” Weber said. The general small-animal practice sees not only dogs and cats, but birds and reptiles as well.
