In-Shape Health Clubs says it’s proud to have been voted best fitness center in the region for the past two years since acquiring clubs from Solano Athletic Club and Millennium SportsClubs. Fairfield residents have three locations to meet everyone’s fitness needs, said Billy Duran, In-Shape district manager. Two locations enhance members experiences and offer more workout and lifestyle options. In-Shape: Fairfield Dover recently underwent a $2 million remodel which includes a new outdoor luxury pool and spa area with a lap-family pool, resort lounging cabanas and an outdoor fire pit. Inside, members find an upgraded indoor aquatics center, new cardio equipment with flat-screen TVs, a new free weight and selectorized equipment and a dramatically expanded and enhanced childcare area, In-Shape said. Tennis courts were refinished and offered new viewing platforms and deck space, the club said. In-Shape: Fairfield Holiday had a $1 million renovation during 2012. Additions include a new free weight area, new functional training zone with TRX, refinished racquetball courts, completely brand new locker rooms and lounge area, selectorized machines and a new Shapes Area for a more private workout option, the club said. The Group Exercise and Cycling Studios, which offer free classes, were both expanded and all new Keiser bikes were added, said the club. In-Shape: Fairfield Rancho Solano offers members a resort-like experience with beautiful outdoor day and night tennis courts, basketball court, sand volleyball court, and an outdoor aquatics center that In-Shape revitalized into a family-friendly destination, the club said. Pilates studio, cardio theater, group exercise and cycling studios with free classes including the popular Les Mills class line are offered. Ten In-Shape locations are within Solano County and In-Shape has spent more than $25 million in the region in the past three years. “We want local residents to know we offer affordable, family-friendly facilities throughout the area where people of all ages can come have fun and feel good,” said Rob Farrens, In-Shape’s executive vice president, in a release. “At In-Shape, we’re always trying to bring the best health and fitness resources – at an affordable price – to our members, and our Fairfield members definitely get the best of the best.” Interested residents should call or visit the In-Shape website for a free guest pass.
