Ray’s Cycle is a staple in Fairfield and Vacaville. The business was launched in 1972 in Vacaville as Ray’s Cycle and Mower. In 1997, a second store was opened in Fairfield. Justin English, general manager of the Vacaville location, attributes the company’s success to the fact that it’s run by “inspired individuals who enjoy cycling. Our goal is to spread the love of the sport.” Phil Seehausen manages the Fairfield store. He’s worked for the company since 1983. The business was started by Ray Posey Sr. and his wife, Nina. Today, it’s run by their sons, Mike and Ray Jr.
