A major goal of Dr. Sunni Yoon’s dental practice is avoiding pain. She wants to make a visit to the dentist as gentle and pleasant as possible. But comfort isn’t her only goal.

“(Quality dental care) also consists of clear, concise, easy-to-understand-and-implement advice, provided in a respectful and pleasant way that will put you at ease,” she says on her website. “We never want dental care to feel like a chore, and we make sure that our patients know that their comfort and health are our biggest concerns.”

Yoon’s office, which treats patients of all ages and is always open to new patients, offers such services as preventive care, bonding, cosmetic surgery, mini-implants, endodontics, oral surgery and crowns that can be created by a computer and completed within one office visit. She also offers ZOOM laser bleaching and fillings to match tooth color.

She specializes in state-of-the-art dentistry, including the use of 3-D technology that allows for an accurate and precise evaluation for implants.

Yoon’s background includes schooling at the Columbia University of Dental and Oral Surgery, where she earned a doctorate of dental surgery. She also had a residency at the John F. Kennedy Medical Center.

Yoon makes it a point to ensure she and her staff continue their education to allow them to give patients the best advice and medical care based on the most modern advances. The staff speaks Spanish and Korean, in addition to English.

Even better? You can watch movies while having your teeth worked on.

Sunni Yoon, D.M.D.
