Discover Solano Spring 2014: Sonoma Train Town

By From page DIS56 | March 31, 2014

Train Town is a great little place for kids and kids at heart.

The Sonoma Train Town Railroad, one mile south of the Sonoma Plaza, features a quarter-scale railroad on four miles of track. Each train ride lasts 20 minutes, trekking over bridges and through tunnels on the way to a petting zoo destination. The 10-acre park features a half-dozen amusement rides, including a carousel, a Ferris wheel and roller coasters. Train Town opened in 1968 and has claimed to be one-fifth the size of the original Disneyland and twice the fun.

Location: 20264 Broadway, Sonoma
