@ Mr Chalk: Regarding the “soul” question. The word soul can mean whatever you want, because it can have a broad interpretation. It is not based on a objective meaning. Have you ever seen a soul, have you ever touched a soul – literally? I would say you touched on someones emotions, and are confusing that with the afterlife mumbo jumbo you are trying to convey. Some may describe it as a moral compass. Something that lives forever, as the mythical tale defines it.

I agree with most everything in this column. Now the question has to be asked… if it is not OK to kill United States babies, why is it Ok to kill children in the Middle East with Drone attacks ect….because 911 WAS AN INSIDE JOB ON THE REPUBLICAN WATCH (with the full knowledge of high ranking Democrat NWO operatives) and those countries did not attack US. Why do we not condemn UN, WHO, IMF, Communist abortions worldwide…why does the United States fund the UN and WHO and IMF, which are actually fronts for Depopulation programs.

It’s not so much O’Reilly makes money spewing his particular brand on toxin, but that he makes a LOT of money doing it. And it doesn’t help the debate; it keeps people from seeing what they have in common. He makes gets rich making people stupider and driving them apart, and I don’t have to act cool about it when I see it. But back to “cool observation:” Is there anyone out there who is “pro-abortion?” I suppose if you oppose people who are “pro-life,” you must be “anti-life.” But that would sound SO stupid, the “pro-life” people have had to settle for calling their opponents “pro-abortion.” Think about it; who is pro-abortion? When the Constitution was being ratified, the pro-constitution people quickly claimed the moniker “federalists” and started calling their opponents “anti-federalists,” which stuck. The rest is history. Words matter.

RLW: Your disdain for O’Reilly seems to make your analyses “jump the tracks” of cool observational convention. I guess I missed all the “lies” you seem to see in this OPINION column. Why does it bother you so much that O’Reilly writes his columns for pay? Should we then question the motives and therefore the veracity of every professional writer on the planet? It is one of life’s great mysteries that so many conservative people are so callous when it comes to thinking people who are pro-choice are also pro-abortion. Bill puts that hook in his first paragraph and launches off of that misconception. Only in his case he is exploiting the misconception for money—to sell his column. He knows the truth of the matter.
