The government caused the gang problem with their horrible welfare state and police state. Government promoted, fostered and subsidized single parenthood and ilegitimacy setting the stage for gang recruitment as a social support and social norm. Government also.swelled their ranks with their failure to secure our borders and their treasonous subsidization of illegal immigration. Then there's the other side of the government's horrible equation--the growth of an out of control police state with its trashing and shredding of the now dead US Constitution. In California, the police state, public employee unions and enabling disloyal politicians have bankrupted cities, counties and the state. Now Fairfield has started a ''public safety'' academy that even in its infancy resembles a nationalist socialist Orwellian creation of Ernst Rohm and his Brown shirts.
