As I've stated previously on this site, I don't care how much gas costs. The oil companies have control and answer to no one, they wield their might as they choose and there is nothing we can do about it. There are a million "remedies" anywhere you care to look and of course, they are all useless. I refuse to allow them to inhibit my travels.

Obama's economy has prevented any vacation except for his continual multimillion dollar trips.

It is not Obama's fault that the oil companies are such greed (@#$%^&*) B_STARDS!!!!! Been going on for decades. If I were King, emperor, dictator, loving capitalism as much as the next guy, I would do the following upon my first day, first acts: 1) Nationalize the entire oil industry, firing all oil company execs, CFOs, etc., finding any expertise I would need in the military, 2) All oil pumped on U.S soil would have to be refined and SOLD in the U.S. FIRST (AND IT WOULD BE PUMPED!!!!) and 3) Cut the cost of fuel in half immediately. There is absolutely no reason for these increases. And look out, it isn't even summer driving season yet. There is an oil glut in the U.S. now, and we have become an exporter of oil, not an importer.

The only summer vacation plans I have are looking at Nevada and Arizona for a new place to live. I'm tired of too many taxs and fees and assessments and special districts and on and on. Just read a report that taxes are supposed to go up again next year because 33% of Californians are on Medi-Cal. Not gonna stick around to see if it's true.
