The U.S. CDC published that systemic fluoride from the blood does not lower tooth caries (MMWD, Aug, 2001) and suggested it must work topically. The National Research Council 2006 however reported that fluoride in saliva from consumed water is only 0.02 ppm, 75,000 times less concentrated than in toothpaste at 1,500. Ingesting industrial fluoride is useless for this purpose. Fluoride is not a mineral nutrient and has never been approved for ingestion by the U.S. FDA, and the sale of fluoride intended for ingestion by pregnant women was banned by the FDA in 1966. Please watch the brief 4 minute TV news broadcast by Abby Martin in Washington D.C. on Youtube. Type in Abby Martin Fluoride for her honest lay description–it is excellent.

Most of the fluoride will go to landscape and end up in the marsh. As The Mister says, we don't need medication from two bit politicians with no medical license or consent from the public to put rat poison in our water!!!! Fluoride has been stopped two times already. How much taxpayer money must be wasted till the politicians realize NO means NO?

(another attempt to post) Fluoride is put into the water to treat a medical condition. For the City to put fluoride in the water is for the City to practice medicine... without a license. Oh, but you say, "We're just following orders" from the CDC or EPA. Just like the N-a-z-i-s were following orders by dropping Zyklon B on the J-e-w-s.
