The tensions between the followers of Shia and Sunni have been going on since they came into existence. This will be a religious civil war, and will result in the country backsliding into a non-democratic to a religious controlled government. I detest the loss of life associated with this war, and for the sacrifices of our armed forces, but if this is how it's going to end up- let's get the hell out of there.

The options presented are very limited. How much military involvement? I don't think we should send troops back there. The first time was an epic disaster and repeating Bush's mistake would be lunacy. Drones would help.

My thinking is the liberal democrats would go crazy with the loss of innocent life that a drone strike would cause but I could be wrong, What would you say about the loss of innocent life?
