If Mr. Thomson wants to discuss the Board's salaries in public, he simply has to have the item put on the agenda the way every other item is put on the agenda, with I believe two votes. If he gets it on the agenda, he may also need to discuss the fact he resigned from the Board previously, ran for County Assessor, won, spiked his salary for two years. left office to retire and now lives off a government pension based on that spiked salary of about $160,000. Not sure if that conversation is what he has in mind. But it is the conversation that really needs to take place, because what Mr. Thomson did is a prime example of the real problem with government salaries and pensions.

Riverboat Jim sure is a shifty-eyed big unionized rat party government operator isn't he? He all for even more government waste, fraud, thievery and spending---no matter what. Vallejo? Lets spend even more money on it! Welfare and the cops? Lets spend even more money on both--each cancelling the other out with no progress made. Riverboat Jim needs to go.
