Still good people around

By From page A11 | June 19, 2014

In this day and age of so much sad news, I was really taken a back during a recent lunch break.

I headed to Taco Bell on Texas Street. As I pulled up to the drive-thru, a woman came in from the opposite direction driving a white Infiniti. In essence we got to the drive-thru entrance at the same time, so either one of us could have gone first. Thinking nothing of it, I waved her on to go before me.

She placed her order then I went through and placed mine. When I got to the cashier’s window, I was told don’t worry, the woman ahead in the white Infiniti had paid my bill. Amazing! I will never know who that woman is, only the car she drives. I just want to say thank you.

Some people just make the world more special being in it.
